Classrooms

  1. The Marketplace 4 Change Academy (M4C Academy) is a great tool for math intervention programs. The curriculum offers engaging lessons that incorporate all seven learning styles: visual, auditory, kinesthetic, verbal, logical, social, and solitary. M4C takes the toughest math standards, and provides tech-flexible and engaging instruction and lessons to encourage student success.

    Our project-based learning system empowers young students to accept responsibility for their learning, and it encourages creativity while maintaining accountability. Very little reading is required in Math with Money skills packages, and the questions and assignments have a read aloud feature available. The lessons appeal to various learning styles (audio, visual, kinetics, etc.), and include gamification components for extra motivation. This coursework utilizes portfolio-based assessments, as well as quizzes and reporting for accountability.

    Skills/Standards

    At the core of M4C Academy is research-based education. This curriculum is designed to teach and reinforce the most challenging and necessary math concepts. The curriculum encourages students to train and practice to achieve within the set standards.  The lessons are designed to help your scholars reach common core math standards and higher levels of complexities of Bloom’s Taxonomy.
